Welcome to YPA community outreach. You will find community outreach events as well as opportunities to make donations to organizations in need of your help.
YPA is always looking for volunteers and for organizations to support. If you would like to volunteer for a YPA activity or would like to suggest an volunteer activity, please contact the Community Outreach Committee at megan.i.seese@gmail.com.
YPA tries our best to support a variety of community initiatives and charitable organizations. We do not exclusively support or align ourselves with organizations. YPA will support activities to include, but not limited to such things as community clean ups, charitable walks/runs, events, nursing home visits and item drives (ex. canned foods, toys for children, military/veteran support, humane society items, etc.). YPA volunteers will not conduct phone or door-to-door solicitations. YPA also will not coordinate fundraising efforts at the request of an organization, we will try our best to provide volunteers for events with fundraising ties or form walk teams but we cannot take on the coordination of major fundraising requests due to the amount of organizations seeking our support. Finally, YPA does not support or provide volunteers for political campaigns/parties. Members are welcome to support such efforts on their own but not in the name of YPA.
